The portable stump grinder can even be taken through your house or unit to get to the courtyard. Tree stump grinding is the most affordable method of removing stumps. Depending on the situation just about complete stump removal is possible. We can certainly grind the heart of the stump away, then we can chase roots. It is up to you if you want complete stump removal. Normally our customers are happy with about 80% of the tree stump gone.

Root Barriers
We can supply and install root barriers for troublesome tree roots. Root Barrier installation can be at either 600mm or 900mm depth.We need to evaluate the site to determine that the site is suitable. Unfortunately we do not like to install rootbarrier closer than 50% of the distance between the drip line of the tree and the tree trunk. What is the drip line you may ask, well if you drop a vertical line to the ground from the tip of the outer most branches of the tree you have the drip line. The reason for not installing rootbarrier closer than 50% is because of destablisation of the tree. We do not want trees falling over because their roots have been severed and they do not have the support to maintain integrity.
